By filling out this form and the required attachments\u00a0De Gruijter &amp; Co.\u00a0is able to do the pre-check for the process for exemptions on the import of Household goods and motor vehicles.<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong><span lang=\"en\">Failure to complete the form and \/ or the incomplete delivery of the required attachments can lead to a delay in the declaration. Delay in the declaration may delay delivery of your goods.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The final review and approval for the exemption will be done by Dutch Customs.<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Dutch Customs will maintain the right, after release under exemption, to<br \/>* perform a physical check and or scan the goods<br \/>* levy importduties up to 36 months after the exemption is granted if the the imported goods and possible motor vehicles do not meet the required conditions and\/or the required enclosures are not available \/ incorrect.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_heading title=&#8221;Conditions&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.25.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; title_level=&#8221;h3&#8243; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;][\/et_pb_heading][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.25.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>To obtain the permit you must comply with the following conditions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You are moving from a country<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>outside the European Union<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>to the Netherlands,<\/li>\n<li>You are going to live<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>in the Netherlands,<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>You transfer your former residence to the Netherlands<\/li>\n<li>You lived<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>outside the European Union for at least twelve consecutive months<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>You have owned and used the goods for<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>at least six months<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>You have<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>used the goods and are going to use<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>them again<\/li>\n<li>You are importing the goods<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>within twelve months<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>of coming to live in the Netherlands<\/li>\n<li>You are<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>not going to lend out, pledge, hire out or transfer ownership of the goods<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>within the first twelve months after the date on which they were imported.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you can not meet any of the above conditions, please contact your file holder or contact\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:info@staging.degruijter.nl\">info@staging.degruijter.nl<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The exemption does not apply to the following goods:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Alcoholic beverages<\/li>\n<li>Tobacco and tobacco products<\/li>\n<li>Commercial vehicles<\/li>\n<li>Non-portable materials for business purposes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Are you also importing a means of transport?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Are you also importing a means of transport? You should specify this in<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>question 5.<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Do you get an exemption from import tax? Then there are two separate declarations.
